With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Willie James Parham Jr., who departed this life on February 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering kindness. Born on November 30, 1961, in Milledgeville, Georgia, to the late Willie James Parham Sr. and Lizzie Mae Parham, Willie was a man whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.
A devoted husband, Willie shared a life of love and partnership with his beloved wife, Sharon Parham. He was a dedicated father to his children, Precious Parham, Sharrod King, and Whitley King, whom he loved unconditionally, and a loving God-daughter, Brittany Ross. His greatest joy came from being a grandfather to Reign King, Mackenzie Thomas, and True King, whom he adored with all his heart.
Willie’s love for family extended beyond his immediate household. He leaves behind his cherished siblings, Mary Parham, Vickie Parham, and Arthur Parham Sr., who will forever treasure the memories they shared. He leaves behind his beloved uncles, and in laws whose love and guidance shaped his life and will continue to comfort his family.
His legacy continues through his nieces and nephews: Gaton Vann, Sharesa Parham, Shandrece Parham, Arthur Parham Jr., and Chelsee Thomas, as well as several great-nieces and nephews who were blessed to know and be loved by him.
Willie will be remembered for his generous spirit, devotion to his loved ones, and the laughter and wisdom he shared. His presence brought comfort and strength, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing he is at peace, reunited with those who came before him. We hold onto the cherished memories and the love he gave.
Rest in peace, Willie. Your love and legacy will live on in our hearts.
