Viola T. Griswold was born June 15, 1956 to the parentage of Louise H. Turner and Willie Turner, Sr.

She was a 1974 graduate of Jones County High School.

After graduating, she was employed at several companies, including Cherokee Canning & Ruud Rheem to include a few.

She was joined in matrimony to Eugene Griswold in 2004.

Viola loved the Lord, she became a member of Greater Jordan Chapel AME Church. She enjoyed social gatherings and spending time with family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Griswold; mother, Louise H. Turner; brother, Willie Turner, Jr.; sons, Charles Griswold and Kevin Thomas; grandchild, Malaysia Turner; brothers-in-law, Charlie Griswold, Robert Billings, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Johnnie Mae Turner.

Viola’s demise came on August 6, 2025.

She leaves cherished memories to her father, Willie Turner, Sr. of Macon, GA; sons, Mantrail Turner (Cierra) of Macon, GA, Adrian Turner (Cierra) of Milledgeville, GA; daughters, Sheena Turner, Carol Smith, and Carla Farley (Kevin) of Haddock, GA; brother, Ronnie Turner of Milledgeville, GA; sisters, Carol Davis (Ezekiel), Judie Billings, Audrey Turner of Milledgeville, GA, Falecia Andrews Rodriguez of Chicago, IL; sisters-in-law, Mary Axom, Ruth Griswold, Dorothy Wilson (Fred); brothers-in-law, Theodis Griswold, Ronnie Griswold; grandchildren, Kimari, Brandon, K’Den, Tristire, Adrian Jr., Denver, King, Xavier, Ja’Quavion, Kennedi, Camauri, Tammy, Jerry, Debra, Adam; a host of cousins, nephews, nieces; devoted friends, Selena Smith and Billy Reeves.
