Tom Green, Jr.

Mr. Tom Green, Jr., of 1498 S. Jefferson Street Apt. P-64 Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Friday, January 3, 2020 at his residence.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater's Funeral Home.

Mr. Tom Green, Jr. 80, of Milledgeville, Georgia was born on September 7, 1939 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Tom Green, Sr. and Mrs. Maggie Green. Mr. Green passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2020 at his residence.

Tom was a passionate man who enjoyed working as a landscaper. He worked for the Milledgeville Manor for a number of years as a landscaper. In his spare time, during his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tom was born in Milledgeville, Georgia, but later moved to Florida which was where he made his home until ultimately returning to Georgia where he carried out the rest of his days.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Tom Green, Sr. and Maggie Green; three sisters: Alberta Holsey, Virgin Latimore and Mary Lou Lawrence; two brothers: Hal Green, Sammie (Vikie) Green.

Tom leaves to cherish his memories his two sisters: Ms. Katie F. Barnes, of Milledgeville, GA, Ms. Hattie L. Jackson, of Seattle Washington; a devoted, dependable, dedicated and caring caregiver, Ms. Linda Hogan, of Gordon, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
