Mr. Timothy Butts, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Dublin, Georgia.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM from the Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia. The services can be viewed live by clicking on the link below at the hour of the service.

Mr. Timothy Ricky Butts was the son of the late Mary Butts and Mr. Nathaniel Jones. He was born July 18, 1958.  In Milledgeville, Baldwin County, Georgia. He departed this life on May 31, 2020.

Timothy attended the public schools of Baldwin County and graduate with the class of 1978.  He was a hard worker and loved to cook.  He worked for Ryals Bakery, Georgia College and Central State Hospital.

At an early age, Timothy engaged his faith and joined New Hope Baptist Church.  Later in life he transferred his membership to Hopewell Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia and years later to The Greater Wesley Chapel AME in Milledgeville, GA.

Timothy Butts blessed his family living a life full with love, joy and happiness. He was a very strong person, kind and loved sports. He played baseball at an early age and enjoyed watching sports and attending Falcon games. He loved reading books and magazines. He was quiet and always smiling.

Besides his parents, Timothy preceded in homegoing by his family, Ronnie Calvin Butts, Patricia Butts and Debra Butts, Carrie Bell Roberson, Lewis Toombs and Richard Toombs and nephew LaDarrius Cummings.

Cherishing his memories always is his daughter, Charisma Webb (Terrance) of Milledgeville, GA; sisters, Kathy Cummings of Milledgeville, GA, Lucille Lane (Otis) of Hephzibah, Georgia, Brenda Stove (Bobby) of Milledgeville, GA, Connie Jones of Detroit, Michigan, Tamekia Jones of Milledgeville, GA; brothers, Charles H. Butts (Barbara) of Lawrenceville, GA, Nathaniel Jones of Milledgeville, GA, Antonio Evans, and Timothy Evans of Milledgeville, GA; aunts, Marion Culver of Richmond, Virginia, Gladys Chester of Atlanta, GA, Lucy Jones of Detroit, MI; two grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; dedicated friends, Cedric Harris. Everyday as we turn the pages in our hearts, will ever remain; Everything he shared with us as we stroll down memory lane. Thank you God for giving us the most priceless of all treasures.
