Mr. Stanley Eugene Banks, Sr., Milledgeville, GA departed this life on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the local hospital.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Pine Ridge Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stanley E. Banks Sr. was born July 23rd, 1962, to the parentage of Mildred Banks and the late Mr. Jake “Jeff” Banks, Sr. Mr. Stanley attended Baldwin High school. He was in the class of 1979. Mr. Banks love and played basketball for Baldwin High School. He was a great auto mechanic who never met a stranger. He lived his life to the fullest. He was the life of the family, to know him was to love him. He was also a loving and devoted father and grandfather. The grandkids were his everything. The evening of August 21st, 2021. I beloved Stanley E. Banks, Sr., peacefully entered into rest. His death occurred at his home. He had four siblings who preceded him in death: one sister, Mrs. Margaret Banks; three brothers, Mr. Jeff Banks, Jr., Mr. Chester Banks, Mr. Ronnie Richardson. His loving memories will be cherished by his beloved family. Survivors include his mother, Mildred Banks; sons, Stanley E. Banks, Jr., Sterling Banks, Sr.; daughters include, Shenega Banks Warren (Laquavise Warren), Kierra Sanders, Porsche Banks, all of Milledgeville, GA; three sisters, Mrs. Marlyn Banks (Gary) of Phoenix Arizona, Ms. Verna Banks, Ms. Eartha Ward of Milledgeville, GA; uncle, Matthew Blow of Detroit, MI; aunt, Mrs. Rosa James of Detroit, MI; 11 grandkids; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive him.
