It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Shannika Mitchell, Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Mitchell passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Friendship Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment will follow from the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. 

The set up will be held at 1961 Karen circle Apt B. 

Shannika Latrell Mitchell was born on April 17, 1981, to the parentage of the late Henry James Mithcell and Dorothy Louise Hooks of Milledgeville, Georgia. She had one son, Ja 'Tyrin Hooks. Two brothers and one sister. 

She is survived by her loving family and friends.
