It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Shani King, Milledgeville, Georgia. 

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of All Faiths, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville.

Shani Ronashia King, 23 entered the heavenly kingdom of the holy spirit on September 12, 2022. She was born to the parentage of Loretta Cook and Bobby Lee King on March 16, 1999, in Milledgeville, Georgia. She is predeceased by four grandparents, Mrs. Virginia P. Moore,
Mr. Lonnie Cook, Mrs. Ida Mae Hart, and Mr. James King; one aunt, Mrs. Diane P. Hall; one uncle, Mr. Frankie Lee Rushin, Sr.

 Shani was a 2017 graduate of Baldwin County High School in Milledgeville, Georgia and also attended Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia. She was a licensed insurance agent for the State of Georgia where she utilized her license at Geico Insurance, Direct Auto Insurance, and also Acceptance Insurance. Shani later furthered her career by establishing her own business which was Shani’s Sensational Sweets and Chanel’s Cosmetic Smiles where she performed a number of services with cosmetic dentistry. 

Shani’s hobbies were spending time with her son, Ka’Dore, and also her other family members. Shopping and traveling were priorities on her agenda.

Shani leaves the cherished memory of herself to her son, Prince Ka’Dore Shamar King, her mother, Loretta Cook and father, Bobby Lee King of Milledgeville, Georgia; two sisters, Shameka King Williams, husband Robert, Sheena Rochelle King and fiancé Jonathan Smith.
two nieces, Zykerria Harris, Ronajiah Williams both of Milledgeville, Georgia; two nephews, Amir Gilmore and Rhyan Williams, both of Milledgeville, Georgia; three aunts, Gail Peeler, Carolyn Cook Hill and Catherine Cook, all of Milledgeville, Georgia; three uncles,
Clifford Peeler, Bobby Joe Peeler and Willie Wilson all of Milledgeville, Georgia; two great-aunts, Bessie Malone and Francis Gordon both of Milledgeville, Georgia.
