It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Shakiea Brown, Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Brown passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 11:00AM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment to follow from the Council Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. 

Shakiea Brown was called home in the late hours of Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Shakiea Brown daughter of LeChelle Williams and Percy Brown, was born on October 10, 1988, Macon, Georgia. One sibling preceded her in death Tyrese Morgan. Shakiea's grandmother Mary Williams and grandfather Rogers Jackson Jr. also preceded her in death.

Shakiea lived a large portion of her early life in Milledgeville, Georgia and graduated from Baldwin High School. She was employed at AJ's Hot wings & More for many years. 

Shakiea is survived by her mother LeChelle Williams; father Percy Brown; children; two daughters Miracle Brown and Le'Nora Brown; one son Cedric Brown; Fiancé Robert Smith; grandmother Nora Jackson; brothers Milton Morgan Jr and Marquis Morgan; Uncles Roger (Shonda) Jackson III, Timothy Jackson and Reese Curry; A devoted friend. Jayla Dudley. A host of loving family members and friends.

She is survived by her loving family and friends.
