Sandra Renee Harper Zachary was born June 22, 1964, to the parentage of the Late Charlie and Earnestine McDowell Harper in Chicago, IL. She attended school in Chicago until the age of 16. She then moved to Milledgeville, GA, where she began attending Baldwin County High School. She was gainfully employed in various occupations, but her most recent was the Veteran's Building at Central State Hospital.

Her demise came on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Her memories will forever live on through her entire family, including her daughter, Bridgette Harper; three grandchildren, Demarcus Harper, Aaliyah Harper and Cassie Harper; one sister, Faye Collier; one brother, Tony Harper; aunts, Laura Brown, Izora McDowell, Viola Milton, Odessa McDowell and Hellen Sibley of Chicago, IL; uncles, Varry McDowell and Earnest McDowell; a host of relatives, cousins, and friends.
