On June 14, 2021, God saw fit to call you home and peacefully rest. He witnessed your journey getting unbearable and decided it was time to reunite you with everyone in heaven. He called home his beloved Mrs. Sandra Faye Lamar – Thomas. She was known as “San” by family and friends.
Sandra was born in Macon, Georgia on January 9, 1960, to the parents of the late Mr. Willie Lamar and the late Mrs. Fannie Solomon Lamar of Macon and Haddock, Georgia. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, and friend. She was very compassionate when tending to her family. San took pride in being the event planner for family events where she put her love in every idea.
She worked at Cherokee, J.P. Steven, Shaw, Spring City, and Walmart where she loved what she did every day. She also loved to cook. San learned how to play softball at a young age and quickly excelled as a USSSA pitcher for countless years.
