Mr. Ronnie Simmons, AKA “Quart”, was born July 22, 1957, in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late James Lewis Simmons and Mattie Lee Simmons.
Ronnie attended the public schools of Baldwin County. He was a well-known handy man and a self-taught electrician. Ronnie was known by many for his excellent skills in carpentry, plumbing, and other aspects of home improvement. He was a hard worker and took pride in any task that he completed. He was a person who was loved by his family and friends.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Calvin and Michael Simmons.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his brothers, James (Sadie) Simmons, Jr., Charlie Simmons, Larry Simmons, all of Milledgeville, GA, Carl Simmons of Gray, GA, Adam Simmons of Australia; and Roland (Michelle) Simmons of Des Moines, IA; sisters, Rosalyn Gail Simmons of Philadelphia, PA, and Sandra (Calvin) Hooks of Milledgeville, GA; companion: Patricia Stanton; devoted friends: Luein Reeves, Tony Reeves, David Simmons, and Allen Walls; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
