Mr. Rondal Adams, today we celebrate and cherish your life and legacy. “I am alive with the life of Christ I am safe and secure. For I am resting in the bosom of Jesus, I am serene, nothing can disturb the peace of my soul.”
On Tuesday, September 2, 2020 God called the name Rondal “Bro” Adams, and said my child you have fought a good fight, kept the faith, now, enter into the joy of the Lord. Rondal being an obedient and humble servant, answered the call.
Mr. Rondal Adams was born on August 25, 1957 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Johnny Shafford Adams, Sr. and the late Mrs. Flora Ellen Morgan Adams.
Mr. Adams attended the public schools in Baldwin County and graduated from Baldwin High School. As a young child it was instilled in him to work hard. He began the work-force early in his life working alongside his father at Adams Restaurant. He then transitioned to Rheem Manufacturing. He furthered his career and received his CDL license and made it his lifetime career working as a truck driver for Horton Home and Putnam Trucking.
Everyone that knew him and loved him referred to him as “Bro.” Bro was taken away from us way too soon, but not soon enough for our Father God; as he now joins his first son Kawaski G. Davis, grandson Desmond T. Davis, and great grandson Rahlei A. Adams.
To his family and friends, Bro was well known for hunting, cooking for his family and other families within the community. He enjoyed frying fish and playing spades. If he was not seen doing things he loved or not answering his phone, it would not surprise anyone that he would be found fishing. He thought of himself as an avid fisherman. “Bro” had a big heart, humble personality and calming spirit; he was loved by all who knew him. He loved all his family, including his sisters and brothers, especially his nieces and nephews.
He leaves to cherish and refurbish those last and memorable moment to his beloved family, two sons, Mr. Rondal “Bernard” (Olga) Davis of St. Petersburg, FL, Mr. Maurice Roberson of Milledgeville, GA.; three daughters, Ms. April Katrell Adams of Tennille, GA.; Adrienne (Cory) Lyles of Buford, GA.; Christina Katrice Adams of Milledgeville, GA.; Nine grandsons, Martavious Adams, Na'Tarious Shine, Kenyon Whetstone, Drekevious Hood, Tyler Purvey, Amir Harris, Misha Davis, Max Davis, and Marcus Roberson, Jr.; three granddaughters, TyNasia Hooks, Jordan Adams, and Courtney Lyles; nine brothers, Ronnie (Vivian) Adams, Ricky (Sarah) Adams, Jonny Adams, Jr., Craig (Betty) Adams, Shawn Durden, Everett Adams, Bernard Adams, Derrick (Cecelia) Hall, and Jerrell Dixon; five sisters Gail (Travis) Simmons, Lisa (Gary) Adams, Brenda Butts, Shanta Durden, and Crystal Adams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends.
