Robert Leon Brown

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing Of Mr. Robert Brown, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. Brown passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023, at his residence. 

Memorial Services were held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel at Slater's Funeral Home, Milledgeville, Georgia. 

Robert Leon “Bull Brown was born to the parentage of Robert Lee Brown Sr. and Annie E. Brown on July 29, 1959, in Milledgeville, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Brown Sr.

Before his failing illness, he was employed with Sodexo at the Georgia College and State University.

Leon had a humble, loving and kind spirit. He enjoyed    spending time with his family, gardening, riding his tractor, playing the lottery and shooting pool. He would always say, “I’m the best pool shark in Harrisburg”.

His pride and joy were his only son, daughter-in–law and five grandchildren.

He leaves behind to cherish precious memories to his only Son, Danrico Leon Brown (Pamela) of Glasgow, Virginia. His   mother Annie E. Brown of Milledgeville, Ga. One brother:  Alonzo “Lonnie” Brown (Thwanne) of Jacksonville, FL. Three sisters; Karen D. Roberts (Eric), Sandra Chico Simmons (Barry), Marion Smith all of Milledgeville, Ga and Hazel Webster of Atlanta, Ga; Five grandchildren; Nicholas, Neiland, Nyjah, Nava and Nadiya Brown all of Glasgow, Virginia. Devoted and loving companion, Cynthia L. Swint of Milledgeville, Ga.

He is survived by his loving son, mother and family and friends.
