Robert Torrance

Mr. Robert Torrance, of Milledgeville, GA departed this life on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the local hospital.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. 

On Friday, August 20, 2021, God called our beloved Robert Torrance home. Robert Torrance was born on May 8, 1958, to the parentage of Charlie Torrance and Rosa Lee Banks Torrance. Through out the years Robert had many jobs which lead to him being a retiring cook. He was a devoted brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend. And would give you his last. He was willing to do whatever he had to do for his family. His favorite things were playing cards and dancing. His favorite saying was “What's Up Dogg”. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Annie Torrance, Christine Torrance, Mary Julia Torrance Fluellen. Survivors includes: one son, Mr. Antonio Torrance; one granddaughter, Destiny Phelps; sisters, Rosa Mae Reeves, Clara Clark, Emma Milner, Angela Torrance Smith, all of Milledgeville; two brothers, Charlie Mack Torrance / Walterine of Jacksonville, Florida, Anthony Torrance SSG (retired) of Philadelphia, PA; devoted nephew, Michael Milner of Milledgeville, GA; a host of nieces, nephews; devoted nieces, Linda Butts, Nicole Glenn, Jeanette Torrance, Claudette Moore, Paula Clark, Jacquelin Winkfield, Penny Clark, and Tracy Woods, all of Milledgeville, GA.
