Righteous Willie Jones was a God-fearing man who believed deeply in the power of prayer. He always spoke positively in any situation. His favorite saying was "God has the final say". 

Righteous passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 58. He was born in Baldwin County on June 9, 1965, to the late Randolph Sr. and Carrie Jones. He loved hanging out with his brother, Samuel Jones. He attended school in the Baldwin County public school system. Righteous was a Christian who attended church on Sundays and loved to read his bible. He would always be there for the people that he loved and always put his all into any and everything that he did. 

Righteous is preceded in death by his brother Randolph Jr, and sister Samantha McCready. He leaves to cherish here in the earthly realm his wife Michelle Jones, his son, MacArthur Barnes, stepdaughters; Nicole and Stasha; and a stepson, Jordan. His siblings Bishop John (Beverly) Jones, Sr., Elder Samuel Jones, Joann Russell, Bertha Jones and Melinda Jones all of Milledgeville. Brother in-law Keith McCready of Milledgeville. Great uncles Eugene Jones, Dorsey Jones and great aunt Amanda Washington all of Milledgeville. Two dedicated nieces; Shontriska Poole and Dietrich Russell. A lifelong friend; Lola Havior along with a host of loving nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces.  

Memorial Services were held Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at 11:00AM from the Jesus Christ Today Ministries, Inc., Sparta Georgia. 

He is survived by his loving family and friends.
