Rickey C. McClinton

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater’s Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mr. Rickey C. McClinton, of Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. McClinton passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022.

Graveside services were held on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM from the Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Rickey Carlton McClinton was born April 18th, 1958 to the parentage of Grady and Lula Pearl Williams, Sr. Rickey attended the Baldwin County public system. He loved the Lord and was a member of Green Pasture Baptist Church. He had a talent for cooking, drawing, playing the guitar, singing and spending time with his nieces and nephews. One of Rickey's most memorable cooking experiences was preparing a private dinner for he legendary blues singer, Ms. Betty Wright. Rickey's talents for cooking afforded him the opportunity to cook and train other chefs in a number of restaurants in the city. He was known for cooking and working over a host of many restaurants over the years. Rickey gained his heavenly wings on March 12, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Grady and Lula Williams, Sr.; two brothers: Grady Michael Williams, Jr., Luico (Elaine) Williams; three sisters: Alicia Williams, Teresa Williams, Andrea (Dexter) Ricks, all of Milledgeville, GA; a devoted friend, Deion Hill; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
