Recardo Jackson

Recardo Cortez Jackson Sr., entered into rest Saturday June 1, 2024. He was born on January 30, 1974, in Milledgeville, GA to the late Lawrence Brisco Jr., and Annie Ruth Jackson. Besides his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother Bobby Taylor, his favorite nephew Keion Jackson, and his best friend Robert Bonner and Carlos Anderson. Recardo was educated in the public schools of Baldwin County.

“Rick” as he was often called by family and friends had a passion for grilling, landscaping and had dreams of one day starting his own business with the two. He loved spending time with his family, playing the lottery and watching football. He was a big gan of the New York Giants. He was also the family comedian so there was never a dull moment when he was around.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories: wife Felicia Baker, five daughters; Cherelle Jackson, KeAmber Simmons, KeEra Simmons (Jarvis), Courtney Jackson (Atavious), and Brittany Jackons. Two sons; Recardo Jackson Jr. (Alley) and Jaden Jackson. Five sisters; Patrice Jackson, Kizzie Jackson (Brandon), Sarah Reynolds (Johnnie), JoAnn Holmes (Demetrius), and Sheila Taylor. Five brothers; Earl Jackson, Kelvin Jackson (Carmen), Richard Anderson, Lawrence Brisco III (Sheila), and Rodney Reynolds (Natasha), 10 grandchildren. Special friend Germeka Walls, devoted friends Marcus Thomas and Dennis Devero and a hose of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Although he will be missed by his Earthly family, remembering him will add to our most treasured memories.

Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the Shiloh Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed from the Heritage Memorial Park, Milledgeville, Georgia.
