Ralph Lee Sanford

Mr. Ralph Sanford, of Florida entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 12 NOON from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater's Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Walls Cemetery, Sparta Georgia.

Mr. Ralph Lee Sanford was born on August 12, 1957 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the late John and Mrs. Magelean Walls Sanford. On Wednesday, May 19, 2021 Ralph departed this life and gained his heavenly wings. He was preceded in death by his father John, his mother, Magelean, and his siblings: Gregory, Roger, and Lillie Carroll, daughter-in-law, Sierra Sanford, brother-in-law, Gregory Haynes.

Ralph affectionately known as "Shirt" and "LP" by his close friends and family never met a stranger. To him was to love him. He attended the Baldwin County School System. At the age of twenty, he joined the US National Guard in 1977.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his son Mr. Travis Sanford, of Macon, GA; four sisters: Ms. Bessie Gaye Lewis, Mrs. Barbara (Gerald) Jackson, Mrs. Evelyn Hayes, and Mrs. Johnnie Mae (Ronnie) Turner, all of Milledgeville, GA; one brother, Mr. Rober Gilbert, of Savannah, GA; sister-in-law, Mrs. JoAnne Simmons Sanford; two aunts: Ms. Maude Ingram, of Deveraux, GA, Mrs. Roas Mae Franklin, of Atlanta, GA; three grandchildren: Ms. Kynslee Sanford, Ms. Tiyonna Mariney, Mr. Tristan Sanford; a devoted fiance', Ms. Inell Sanders; a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
