Peggie Curry

Peggie Jean Jenkins Curry, 58, of Milledgeville, GA passed away on March 12th of 2024 after her brief battle with cancer.

Peggie was born on March 21st of 1965 in Milledgeville, Georgia to Mr. Eugene Jenkins and Mrs. Pearl Jean Glenn Joy.

Peggie attended the Baldwin County School system until the 9th grade. Peggie met her husband, Dennis Curry, through friends. They had one child together, Travis Jenkins. Later on, Peggie had three children with Joseph Ford, Joseph Curry, Junita Curry Shopshire, and Jarkiyus Ford.

Peggie was predeceased by her grandparents, her mother, and one brother.

Peggie is survived by her children: Travis Jenkins of Warner Robins, GA, Joseph Curry of Milledgeville, GA, Juanita Shopshire of Milledgeville, GA, and Jarkiyus Ford of Milledgeville, GA; two brothers, Roy Williams, George Jenkins; along with her two daughters-in-law, Chenel Jenkins and Jacquelin Ford; as well as 14 grandchildren; and her sister, Pamela Sapp. 

 She is survived by her loving family and friends.
