It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Odell Anderson, Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Anderson passed away Wednesday November 30,2022, at Navient Health Bibb, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday December 7, 2022, at 1:00PM from the Parker Springs Baptist Church, McIntyre, Georgia. Interment to follow from the Scotts Chapel Coopers Community Cemetery, Gordon, Georgia.
Ms. Odell Ford Anderson was born on January 20, 1958, to the parentage of Herbert Julian Ford and Mary Jane Wright Ford in Wilkinson County, Georgia.
She attended the public schools of Wilkinson County. She was a member of Coopers Hill Baptist Church until her health began to decline. Ms. Anderson was a dedicated employee for twenty years with Chaplinwood Nursing Home and Central State Hospital as a housekeeper. Ms. Anderson was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and sister to all of her family. She was one of the best cooks who did not mind getting in the kitchen and cooking. She loved to watch television with her kids, working in the garden where she would spend her days outside planting different types of plants in her yard. She had a heart of gold and did not mind helping anyone that was in need and loved by everyone she encountered.
On November 30, 2022, Ms. Anderson departed after fighting a long battle of sickness in the Atrium Navicent Health Hospital in Macon, Georgia.
Ms. Anderson leaves her legacy with her children: Erica Ford, Joyce Ford, Patrick Ford, and Nicole Anderson, all of Milledgeville, Georgia; grandchildren, Dontrell Anderson, Jaton Ford, Ke'Shun Seabroooks, Jaiden Seabrooks, Alliyah Seabrooks, all of Milledgeville, Georgia; sisters, Tracey (Earnest) Dennis of Toomsboro, Georgia, Julie (Lennis) Mae Ford of Milledgeville, Georgia; brothers, Herbert (Justine) Ford of Toomsboro, GA, John (Heidi) Ford of Milledgeville, GA, Melvin (Grace) Ford, Nathaniel Ford, Billy (Beverly) Ford, all of Milledgeville, GA, Scotty (Tomika) Lewis of Toomsboro, GA, Arthur Lee (Robin) Terrell and Ronald Gibson, both of Milledgeville, GA. Ms. Anderson also leaves her legacy with a host of other relatives
