Norris Miller, Sr. Obituary

Mr. Norris McNeil Miller, Sr., of 168 Stewart Drive, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Georgia War Veterans Home, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Graveside services were held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mr. Norris Miller, Sr. was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He has accomplished many great achievements over his life span which includes: Serving in the United States Army, serving on the board of Directory of Central State Hospital, dedicating several years of service for the Baldwin County Sheriff Department and then finally retiring from Central State Hospital.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Mr. Willie Lee Miller, Sr. and Mrs. Elizabeth V. Hall; son, Mr. Derrick Lyn Miller;  brothers, Mr. Willie Lee Miller, Jr., Mr. Richard "Bunny" Scott; sister, Dorothy S. Mosley. 

Cherished memories shall always cling to the hearts of his beloved family. Norris is survived by: his sons, Norris McNeil, Jr., William "Bill" Miller, both of Milledgeville, GA, and Micheal Hatcher of Valdosta, GA; daughters, Ms. Cynthia Miller of Milledgeville, GA, Mrs. Debra Miller Dawson (Adrian), and Mrs. Michelle Cooper (Jermaine); brother, Mr. Kirby Hall of Milledgeville, GA; sisters, Ms. Victoria Testamarian (Testaslem) and Rosa J. Hall, both of Springfield, VA; one sister-in-law, Barbara Scott of Milledgeville, GA; grandchildren, Norris Miller III (Adrianne), Danny Sallad (Crystal), Lakiesha Miller, Erica Miller, Britney Miller, Terril Ford, Rodney Smith Jr., Shabrina Miller, Hannah Dawson, and Kennedy Cooper; cousins, nieces, nephews and many devoted friends.
