Funeral services were held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater's Funeral Home, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in Bone Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mr. Napoleon Guyton was born on September 18, 1957 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Isaiah Guyton and the late Mrs. Janie Guton Heath. On Februay 11, 2020, God saw that Napoleon had well fought the battle, victory had been won, and He called him home to Glory.
Napoleon was a high-spirited child. His active play encouraged his family to coin him the nick name "Spanky", mirrored after the character from the Little Rascals. He endured a tragic accident as a young child which ultimately removed his ability to walk. However, it could not removed his spirit which would shine through his smile daily. Throughout his life he gave up. He embraced the life he was presented. He loved his mother and his family. Before his mother passed, he loved being at home with her, sitting in his favorite chair and watching his favorite chair and watching his favorite shows on TV Land. The Andy Griffith Show was at the top of the list. He also loved his stuffed animals. Comfort is brought, knowing that he is happy alongside his mother once again.
Spanky leaves to cherish his memories: three siblings, Debra (James) Lovette, of Milledgeville, GA, Bridgette (Robin) Robinson, of Atlanta, GA, Carl (Lisa) Guyton, of Milledgeville, GA. He also leaves behind several aunts and an uncle, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Spanky was loved and will be missed by many.
