Ms. Cynthia Michell Forney was born in Milledgeville, GA to the parentage of the late Nathaniel Forney, Sr. and Jacqueline Butts Forney on August 17, 1972. She was raised in Milledgeville, GA.

She was educated in the Baldwin County public school system, graduating with honors with the Class of 1990. She attended the Upward Bound Program at Mercer University in Macon, GA during her high school career. She studied two years at Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, GA.

At the height of her working career, Cynthia Michell worked as a classified ad customer service representative at the Union Recorder in Milledgeville, GA and later at the Macon Telegraph in Macon, GA for several years. After her time at the newspapers, she started working as a Pharmacy Technician at the local Walgreens. She joined Flagg Chapel Baptist Church in Milledgeville, GA where she served as the church reporter and in the youth department. She loved children. She babysat her siblings, cousins, and friend's children. She made the holidays special by decorating and buying the BEST gifts.

Ms. Cynthia Michell departed this life on June 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her father, Nathaniel Forney, Sr. and grandparents.
