Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven, a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
Ms. Ann Marie Webster departed this earthly home on Monday, April 26, 2026, in the Medical Center Atrium Health Navicent, Macon, Georgia surrounded by her love ones.
Ann, as she was favorably called was born to the parentage of Mr. Willie C. Griffin and the late Mrs. Catherine Nelson Griffin in Baldwin County, Milledgeville, Georgia. She was a graduate of the Baldwin High School Class of 1973. After graduating, Ann furthered her education by attending the Fort Valley State University in Fort Valley, Georgia. She found employment with Gruman Airforce Base for many years. She was also employed for the Baldwin County Transit Service and Central State Hospital.
During Ann's youth, she started her spiritual journey as a member of Trinity CME Church in Milledgeville, GA. Later in life, she found spiritual enjoyment by visiting other area churches. Ann had a charitable heart. She loved doing great things for children so much that she went our of her way to help raised a young boy to become a young man. Ann also was known to travel multiple times a day to and from her home, in the rural area of Baldwin County, to town and mall areas, often transporting family and friends to various destinations. Ann was also a great caregiver for her father. She loved her father so much until she moved from her home into his home to ensure that he was taken care of the way Ann wanted to do it. She did it with a smile as she was known to always have a lovely smile on her face no matter what was going on around her.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine N. Griffin; brother, Charles Jarrett, Sr. of Milledgeville, Georgia and her sister, LaTonya Brown of Cleveland, Ohio.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving and devoted son, Adrian Webster of Macon, Georgia; father, Willie C. Griffin, Milledgeville, Georgia; brother, O.C.
