Mrs. Ruby Christine Henderson

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Ms. Ruby Henderson, Milledgeville, Georgia. Ms. Henderson passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022.  

Graveside services were held on Tuesday August 9, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia. MASK REQUIRED! The family has asked for privacy (no visitation) at the home during their time of bereavement and that all condolences be presented through Slater's Funeral Home Inc.

Mrs. Ruby Christine Henderson was born on May 22, 1946, in Baldwin County, Ga to the parentage of Mr. Cowan Finney and Mrs. Esther Mae Davis Finney who both preceded her in death and two sisters Mrs. Josephine Jeffries and Mrs. ollie Austin, one niece Ms. Donna L. Finney, One nephew Mr. Deshaun Warren, two great nephews Cleatha Mc Cormick, Jr. and Mr. Jasmar Austin.

Ruby was a graduate of Boddie High School class of 1966 and a retiree of Central State Hospital. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, one loving devoted son and caregiver. Charles Henderson, Jr. Four sisters Ms. Dora L. Finney, Mrs. Estella Nickelson, Mrs. Sherry A. Richardson and Mrs. Esther M. (Charles) Bowen, also a loving host of in-laws, nieces, nephew, aunts', cousins and friends.
