Mr. Raquaz Burch, Sr. Obituary
Mr. Raquaz Burch, Sr. was given life on this Earth by God through his parents, Mr. Alandus Tucker and the late Ms. Tammy Renee’ Burch.
From a young age, “Quaz” was known to be a naturally funny person. He was always cracking jokes and had the biggest, heartfelt laughs. He could make light of any situation and always saw the good in people. As a child, he became a member of Flipper Chapel AME Church, alongside all of his immediate family members, and remained a member up until a few years ago. He loved to interpret scripture and would often ask his sister on Sunday evenings, “What did Bishop Channel preach about today? What scripture did he use?” And they would talk about it. He loved his music. Really LOVED his music. Wherever he was, there had to be some old school music playing. You could count on him to be riding in the car, windows down with music blasting, or in the yard with his big speakers set up, jamming, or walking down the street, headphones on, head bopping to his jams. And when it was time to put some meat on the grill, he was always the one to call. He grilled for his family for every holiday and didn’t mind cleaning up afterwards either. He was always helpful whenever he could be.
No matter what hardships Quaz might’ve been facing, he always held his head high and kept a smile on his face. Laughing and joking was his way of brightening someone else’s day.
Sickness became a part of his life in 2024, and it took some of his zeal away from him. But he continued to keep moving and keep living. He refused to let it own his life.
On April 8, 2026, he took his last breath on Earth, never to suffer or feel pain again.
His presence can never be replaced nor duplicated. He will be missed.
He left behind to cherish his memory his father, Alandus Tucker. His children, Xavier Burch of Macon, GA; twins Raquaz Burch, Jr. and Bryanah Burch, both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His sister, De’Adre Saincine (Jeremy) and brother, Aaron Burch. Three nieces, Sha’Tia Driskell, Amaiya Driskell, and Ja’Kayla Saincine (whom he affectionately called Lil Chicken). One nephew, Jordan Driskell. Several aunts, Wendy Stephens, Tamika Brown, Sandra Burch, Bernestine Mosley, Sharilyn Graham, Robin Tucker, Garadine Tucker, Sheryl Tucker, and Patricia Tucker. Uncles — Terrance Burch, Ronald Tucker, and Samuel Tucker as well as several cousins, other family members, and friends.
