Montrell Dejuan Scott

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mr. Montrell Scott, Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. Scott passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 2:00 PM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Montrell Dejuan Scott was born on May 27, 1993, to the parentage of Marion Reeves and Lasonja Scott.

Montrell “Money” Scott, as he was called by his family and friends, graduated in November of 2016. He was ambitious and determined in life. He loved working as a package handler and providing for his family. He always had an encouraging word or something funny to say to inspire those around him.

He was outgoing and enjoyed making and writing music, video chatting and talking to family and friends. He especially loved having conversations about his daughter, Angel Marie Scott. He had a contagious smile that would light up the world.  He will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Marion Reeves III and his great grandmother, Kate Reeves.

Montrell leaves a host of aunties uncles family and friends. Montrell has always made it clear of the love he has for his community “Harrisburg”.
