Minister W. Orlando Pounds

Minister W. Orlando Pounds, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020.

Funeral services were held privately with family. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Lee Pounds for whom he had a startling resemblance and sister Margaret Marshall. He is survived by his sweet and loving mother, Minister Johnnie Mae Pounds. Also, cherishing his memory is his loving wife, Evangelist Carla Pounds; his children, Charell Quvette Brown, Jessica Kiambra Pounds, and Morgan Karessa Pounds all of Milledgeville, GA and Jahrea Virnay Brown of Atlanta, GA. He adored his two grandchildren, Aahmad Young and De' Reyna Young, who lovingly called him "Poppee." 

He is also survived by his devoted, loving older twin brothers; Apostle Willard Leon Pounds (Shellie) of Milledgeville, GA and Wilfred Louis Pounds Sr. (Tracey) of Macon, GA, Carlton Charles Pounds of Cincinnati, OH and Darrell Williams (Winifred) of Gray, GA; sisters, Gloristene Pounds of Cincinnati, OH, Carolyn Burnell and Earnestine Waters (Wilfred) of Macon, GA; aunts Vetra Griggs of Macon, GA and Jessie Lee Spencer of Haddock, GA; and uncle Earnest Williams of Eatonton, GA. Also, a loving father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Carlene Johnson; sister-in-law, LaTonja Johnson- Young (Chief Victor); brother-in-law, Brian Johnson; goddaughter, Kirsten Harris, all of Milledgeville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
