Mrs. Mildred McGee, of Milledgeville, Georgia has entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Atrium Health Baldwin, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Pecan Grove of the Chapel of All Faiths, Milledgeville, Georgia.
On Monday September 27th, 2021 Ms. Mildred McGee departed life here on earth at the age of 74. Ms. McGee was born on November 17th, 1946 in Davisboro, Georgia to the parentage of Mr. Rufus Bell and Oren Bell. Mildred loved the Lord with a passion and she has always encouraged her family to follow in the teachings of the Lord as well. Mildred had a passion for cooking and cooking was part of her profession for over twenty-five years. She has never in her life met a stranger. If she knew you, you were family. And if she met you today, she would greet you with, “Hey Baby”, depart from you with love and care until she sees you again. Mildred raised her family the best way she knew how, all five of her children, all twenty-seven grandchildren, all thirty-five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and if you asked any of them, they all will gladly tell you the same thing, which is Mildred did a wonderful job. She will be Dearly Missed!!! Mom, we Love and Miss you. Mildred will be forever remembered by her loving children: Evelyn Webb, Darrell Hunter, Johnny McGee ( April McGee), Nichole Brinson (Bradley Brinson ), Antoine McGee; her grandchildren: Tavarus Hunter, Quaizel Webb, Quinn Webb, Lynn Webb, Khaneshia Thomas, Dewayne Hunter, Jr. , Justin Webb , Joseph Hunter, Haley Webb, Dexter Strange, Jr. (Bria), Elxia McCoy (Greg), Jayden McGee, Chasity Davis, Antoine McGee, Jr., Gwendolyn Washington, Tyler Webb, Leland Webb, Rihanna Webb, Roderick Webb, Gabriel Strange, Josh Brinson, Chloe Brinson, Jimmela Corbin, Tatyana Corbin, her sister, Ruby Williams (Lee Arthur Williams); her brother-in-law; Freddie Lee Wiley; thirty-five great grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; several other relatives and friends.
