I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, The Righteous Judge, will award to me on that day...
2 Timothy 4:7-8

Michael was a man of many trades. He joined the United States Army at an early age.

Michael worked in the Department of Corrections as the Southside yard mechanic. He was also the owner of Parham Trucking Company LLC. He drove an eighteen wheeler.

One of his favorite pastimes was to smoke Black & Mild cigars and drink a diet coke.

He married his high school sweetheart, his first love, Jeanette Butts on July 28, 1987. This union was blessed with one daughter, Jasmine Parham. They had cute nicknames for each other, “Mikeyboy” and “Nettie”.

He was preceded in death by: a sister-in-law, Geraldine Butts.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Jeanette Butts Parham; daughter, Jasmine Parham;  mother, Annie Parham; father, Julius Parham; two sisters, Debra “Toot” French (Walter), Shonda “Runt” Sims (Larry); five brothers-in-law, Arthur Butts (Tia) of Detroit, MI, Rubert Butts, Sammie Butts, Larry Sims, Walter French, all of Milledgeville, GA; two sisters-in-law, Helen Trawick (Walter) of Milledgeville, GA, Tia Butts of Detroit, MI; his favorite cousins, Donna Barnes (she taught him how to fight and ride a bike; they loved each other so much), Isaac Butts III “Ike” (his brother/cousin), Patrick Pitts “Robert” (brother/cousin); coworker/family, Latirture Hall “LaVitue”; best friend/brother, Eugene Mason, Jr. “Gene Gene”; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews; his other children, Shawn Spencer, Antonio Spencer, Savonna Spencer, Jaquiz Reliford, Faith Parham, Jhavian Parham, the late Tasha Parham, the late Hope Parham;  other family members and friends.
