Maurice DeWayne Weaks was born August 3, 1969, to the late Mr. John Weaks, Sr. and Marie Katie Harper Weaks in Milledgeville, GA.

DeWayne was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lisa Weaks and Ebonee Weaks-Scott.

Beside spending time with family and friends, “Wayne” had a passion for traveling and lending a helping hand whenever he could. “Wayne” also was known for his sense of humor. He touched many lives with his generosity and passion for life.

Dewayne leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, John (Bridget) Weaks, Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Anthony Weaks of Milledgeville, GA; three sisters, Johnett Weaks-Preston, Ursula Weaks and Stephanie Weaks-Warren, all of Milledgeville, GA; a host of nieces and nephews.
