Mark Trawick, Jr. was born March 9, 1945, in Baldwin County, Georgia. Mark was one of seven children born to the parentage of the late Mr. Mark and Vaglena F. Trawick.
At an early and tender age Mark confessed Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and savior. Mark was a member of Second Beulah Baptist Church. His membership to his church was faithful and genuine. He served as an usher. He was all about ensuring the grounds of the church and church cemetery were well maintained. Most recently, he put crush and run on the road leading to Hickory Cemetery to warrant a smooth ride in.
Mark was hard-working, friendly, dedicated and always willing to help others. He was employed at Central State Hospital as a Health Service Lead worker for thirty-four years of dedicated service.
In the early morning of Monday, March 3, 2025 AD, shortly after the break of day, our beloved Mark entered into eternal life in the peace and quietness of his home. He has gone to a mansion of rest to await the final resurrection of them that love the Lord. May his peace be with you …. till we meet again. Till we reach that distant shore, and we shed a tear no more. May he give you strength to endure, till we meet again!
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Vaglena F. Trawick; wife, Alice T. Trawick; and his first-born grandson, Kawaski Trawick.
Cherished memories shall cling to the hearts of his beloved family. He leaves a legacy of love to be remembered by: a daughter Veronica (James) Roach of Byron, GA; two sons, Rickie (Ellen) Trawick and Marcus (Terria) Trawick, both of Milledgeville, GA; four sisters, Evelyn Wright, Gladys Ward, Annie Beckom and Geraldine Billings; two brothers, George (Willene) Trawick, and William Trawick, all of Milledgeville, GA; five devoted friends, Hudson Jackson, Richard Ford, Johnnie Wilfork, John and Joann Lavender, and Ray Gibbins; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
