As we gather to bid farewell to Mr. Marcus J. Thomas, we take comfort in knowing that his spirit will live on in all that loves him.

Marcus was born July 13, 1977, to the parentage of the late Johnny Clide and Mrs. Lois Reeves Thomas in Baldwin County. He attended Baldwin County School system. Marcus joined Mount Hope CME Church.

Marcus worked at several restaurants during his early working years. He retired from Lynn Haven Health & Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Gray, GA.

Marcus enjoyed traveling, especially cruising with family and friends, eating at different places and spending time with his wife, the love of his life.  One of Marus' favorite activities was fishing.

Marcus is survived by his wife Cassandra Stubbs Thomas. They spent thirty years of their life together, and were joined in holy matrimony for 18 years.

He also leaves cherished memories to: brothers, Daryl Reeves, Sr. (Pamela), Kenneth Thomas (Veronique), Eugene Thomas (Shonda), Anthony Thomas (Coretta); uncles, Bruce Thomas (Evelyn), Richard Thomas, Charles Thomas, Dennis Reeves, Sr. (Ernestine), and Lee H. Reeves; aunts, Gloria Jean Davis, Janice Reeves, Bertha Palmer, Mary Reeves, Dorothy Reeves, Bernice Williams (George), Roxie Reeves (Clemon Jr.); brother-in-law, Alton Stubbs, Derrick Stubbs (Yashaeka); sister-in-law, Melinda F. Clark; a host of great aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends that will forever cherish his memory.

He fought a good fight in this world and now he's in a greater place.
