Marco Renfroe

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Marco Tyrone Renfroe, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. Renfroe passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2023.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of All Faiths in Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed from the Georgia Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.  

Marco Tyrone Renfroe was born June 30, 1975, to the parentage of Jean Harrison Renfroe, Sr. and Jestine J. Renfroe.

Marco obtained his education from the Baldwin County School System, graduating from Baldwin High School.  After graduation, he chose to serve his country. There, Marco enlisted in the United States Navy, where he was honorably discharged as a Disabled Veteran.

Marco was the life of the party, and you knew when he stepped on the scene you were going to have a good time! Dressing to the “T” was priority #1! His passion was dancing and making sure he put a smile on the faces of the people he encountered.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Jean Harrison Renfroe, Sr.

Marco transitioned to eternal rest on August 24, 2023.

He leaves cherished memories to his mother, Jestine J. Renfroe; siblings, Bobby Simmons (Teasha), Doris Mosley of Lagrange, GA, Gene H. Renfroe, Jr. (Cassandra), Teresa Brookins (Thomas) of Grovetown, GA, Vashawn Renfroe (Libra), Cedric R. Renfroe, Tiarra Renfroe, Tina Renfroe Carter (Nyeem), Regina Renfroe, Kenneth Jackson (Sylvia), Crystal Reeves (Thomas) of Sandersville, GA, Jessica Daniels of Sandersville, GA; devoted friend, Ms. Davonne Stephens of Atlanta, GA; devoted cousins, Arlene Simmons, Lois Simmons and Angela Holsey; a host of loving nephews and nieces.
