Lucious Justice

Mr. Lucious Justice, Milledgeville, Georgia departed this life on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the local hospital. 

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Pearson Chapel AME Church Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia. 

Mr. Lucious Justice departed this life Saturday, August 28, 2021. He was born August 12, 1946 in Hancock County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Adolphus Joe and Delia Mae Pearson Justice. he attended the public school of the community.

At an early age Lucious joined Pearson Chapel AME Church where he maintained his membership.

On December 22, 1973 Lucious was joined in holy matrimony to the former Miss Anna Lois Mosley. To his union three children were born.

Mr. Justice was an employee of RHEEM Manufacturing, and in his spare time he enjoyed working on cars. After his retirement in 2004 he enjoyed being the "handyman" around the house, being surrounded by family ad friends. He was a dedicated and dependable worker who was always willing to after a helping hand to anyone even during his illness.

Lucious was preceded in death by six siblings: Mr. John Justice, Mr. Robert Justice, Mr. Joseph Justice, Mr. Adolphus Justice, Mrs. Lillie May Brown, and Mrs. Susie Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of 47 years: Mrs. Anna Lois Justice, of Milledgeville, GA.; two daughters: Ms. Taunya Y. Justice, Ms. Brittany N. Justice; two sons: Mr. Eric D. Justice, Mr. Curtis Goodman, all of Milledgeville, Ga.; thirteen grandchildren: Kentavious Butts, Devonte' Clopton, Montrez Thomas, Karley Canty, Erianna Justice, Reagan King, Ladre'qods Anderson, Sherod Goodman, Shanese Goodman, Jemerius Goodman, Curtis Goodman, Jr., Tyesha Anderson, and Jakayla Goodman; thirteen great grandchildren, all of Milledgeville, Ga.; one brother: Mr. George Justice, of Sparta, Ga.; two sisters: Mrs. Ruby Warren, of Milledgeville, Ga., Mrs. Gladys Purford, of Philadelphia, Pa.; brothers-in-law: Mr. Jess Warren, and Mr. Johnny Lee Mosley, of Sparta, Ga.; sisters-in-law: Mrs. Simmie Mae Justice and Mrs. Doris Havior, of Milledgeville, Ga., Mrs. Susie Mae Bass, of Coolidge, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
