Mrs. Lucille Parks Wilson departed this life on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Green Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Graveside services were held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the Bone Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Early Years Mother Lucille Parks Wilson was born to the late John and Mary Alice Parks in Gordon, GA on March 28, 1945. Growing up Mother Wilson had four brothers and three sisters. All of whom have preceded her in death. Mother Wilson attended school at Duresville Elementary School. She was a graduate of Peter G. Appling High School in Macon, GA. Mother Wilson retained employment at Central State Hospital for 30 years. She was observant, consistent, resourceful when caring for her clients. Life as a Wife and Mother While working at Central State Hospital, a young Mother Wilson met Isaac Wilson Sr. Lucille Wilson th was married to the late Isaac Wilson Sr. on June 9 , 1973 in Milledgeville, GA. After they wed, Mother Wilson inherited a score of sister and brother-in laws. In addition, Mr. & Mrs. Wilson's union was blessed with seven children, one of whom Isaac Wilson Jr. preceded her in death. Service to herChurch and Community As a young girl, Mother Wilson attended the Gordon Church of God in Christ. After her marriage, she attended Elbethel Baptist Church in Milledgeville, GAand later became a church mother. Mother Wilson later joined Greater Love Outreach Ministries (G.L.O) under the direction of Pastor Jonathan Butts and she continue her service as church mother. Mother Wilson loved her family, friends, and everyone she met. She found great pleasure in joking and laughing. She will be remembered by her infectious laugh, warm heart, and upbeat personality. Mother Lucille Parks Wilson is survived by six children: Pamela Wilson, Milledgeville; Derrick Muhammad (Jeanette), Macon; Kimberly Parks Cummings (Timothy), Atlanta; Cynthia Williams, Milledgeville; Devonia Wilson, Milledgeville; Minister Michelle L. Wilson-Bailey (George), Milledgeville. Her grandchildren: Keonis Mann; Kealey Mann (Constina); Chasidy Parks Burke (Carlos); Jazzmine Allen (Javin); Starsha Parham (Shavorious); Isaac Wilson III (Rocio); Jarrian Mann (Quonshaunda); Cynteia Williams; Darryl Williams; and Minister Isaaiah Wilson; and a host of the great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family.
