Mrs. Lizzie B. Binion, of Sparta, Georgia passed away at the Atrium Health, Baldwin, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Our beloved Lizzie B. Binion departed this earthly life on Saturday morning November 6, 2021, abruptly. She was born June 7, 1931, in Devereux, GA. She was the daughter of the late Gennie Dell Latimore and Willie Ingram.
She joined Jones Chapel AME Church at an early age and worked faithfully on different tasks. She attended school in Hancock County and worked for C.S.H. for twenty-seven years until she retired. Her favorite hobbies were cooking, shopping, family, church, and flowers. She was loved by her community and friends. She never met a stranger, always had a big heart and beautiful smile for everyone she met. She was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Lizzie was preceded in death by her mother Gennie Dell Latimore and father, Willie Ingram; her husband of 64 years, Eugene Binion, Sr.; her brothers Linton (Nick) Latimore, UL Ingram, her grandmother, Sallie Bell Latimore; grandson, Eric Deshon Binion and many other loved ones. Cherished memories remain in the hearts of her children, including sons, Marvin (Sheena) Binion, and Eugene Binion, Jr.; daughters, Dorothy (David) Griswold, Rachell Binion and Willa (Lee) Steele; her brother, Roosevelt Latimore; two sisters, Willie Mae Tyrone and Marion Edwards; a host of loving relatives and friends; devoted friend, Shelia Wright (companion sitter); two devoted adopted daughters, Ada Bell Lewis, and Velma Hill, Sparta, Georgia.
