Ms. Linda Curry officially brought sunshine into this world on June 21, 1967, in Baldwin County. Her loving, endearing light has always been bright starting in her childhood. She was known for being active and consistently being involved in the community, helping others whenever needed. Linda attended various schools in the Baldwin County School System in Milledgeville, GA, where she was a member of the Baldwin High School Flag Corps in the Marching Band & the Baldwin High Track team. Upon graduation, Linda attended Central Georgia Technical College where she received degrees in Accounting and Early Childhood Education.
Her beautiful, vibrant smile along with her passion for photography allowed Linda to venture into professional modeling. She was very affectionate and photogenic, bringing a sparkling smile to every person she met. Her various jobs included Cherokee Canning Co, Haband, Central State Hospital, Family Dollar, Winn-Dixie & Forstmann. Linda's warm love and affection welcomed into this world a beaming bundle of joy, her only child, Christopher T. Curry. Linda devoted her life to making sure her son acquired her loving, caring characteristics that made her unique & special.
Ms. Curry's spiritual journey began in youth at County Line Baptist Church in Milledgeville. She was a member of the Choir & a former Treasurer. Her spiritual journey continued as our Heavenly Father ushered Linda to the World of Faith Ministries in Macon, Ga where she has been an active member for 20+ years. Her duties include Administration (secretary), working in Outreach, singing in the Choir, coordinator of the Signs of Praise team, working in the Children's Ministry & Sunday school.
On Sunday morning, October 6, 2024, after a long, unwavering, earthly battle with illness, our Heavenly Father called Ms. Linda Curry home to join his Heavenly Army to become one of his soldiers. She is preceded in death by her mother, Ms. Margaret Freeman, sisters Lucinda Casey & Eula Mae Simmons and brothers Emanuel Curry & James Curry. Those left to keep her memory alive include her son, Christopher T. Curry of Milledgeville, her devoted special friend, John F. Sanford of Lizella, her sister, Joann Butts of Milledgeville, 2 brothers, Milton (Jackie) Curry & Kelvin Curry, both of Milledgeville & a host of nieces, nephews, a sister-in-law, aunts, uncles, devoted church members, classmates & coworkers.
