Mrs. Lillian Knox Hicks was born on September 12, 1941, in Milledgeville, Georgia, to Mrs. Mamie Lue Knox and Sandy Knox, Sr.
Lillian was baptized at Second Macedonia Baptist Church and became a member at an early age.
Lillian, known as “Tilla” to many of her family and friends, graduated from J.F. Boddie High School.
