Mr. Leon Stephens was born on May 15,1942 to the parentage of the late Raymond and Bertha Mae Stephens of Toomsboro, Ga. He attended the school systems of Wilkinson County before entering into the Armed Forces of the United States. After returning home he was employed by several agencies and later became employed by Central State Hospital from which he worked until his retirement. He was a jack of many trades; Carpentry was the greatest of them all!
He was preceded in death by his son, Cedecki Stephens.
On Sunday September 7, 2025, God called him into his eternal resting place.
He leaves his love and memories to be cherished by his wife, Mrs. Inna Stephens of Milledgeville, GA; paternal children, Leon Stephens, Jr., Alex Stephens, April Stephens, Sophia Stephens Dupree, Dexter Stephens (LAS); four paternal grands, Chanel Stephens, Bud Dupree, Darian Blassingame and Jade Stephens; eight great grandchildren; He gained four children from marriage, Ricky Pinkston, Henry Smith, Wanda Smith and Patricia Tucker (Samuel); five grandchildren, Jasmine McCormick, Jessica Smith, Sheldrick Lester, Ronald Todd and Amber Roach; sixteen great grands; one brother, Mr. James Todd Stephens (Lavonne); three sisters, Ms. Jane Ross, Mrs Louvenia Marlowe (James) and Pastor Mary Paschal (Ronnie); a host of so many nieces and nephews; two devoted friends, Mr. Bill Zachary and Mr. Ernest Hamilton.
