Mr. Larry Bernard Bonner, of Milledgeville, Georgia departed this life on Saturday, May 1, 2021 in Gray, Georgia.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mr. Larry Bernard Bonner entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Autumn Lanae Health and Rehabilitation Center, in Gray, GA. Larry was born in Milledgeville, GA, September 28, 1948, to the parentage of the late Mrs. Leila Green Bonner and Mr. Sam Brown. He attended school in Baldwin County and he was a graduate of Boddie Jr. High School class of 1966. He was employed by the State of Georgia at Central State Hospital in Milledgeville, GA for several years until his health begin to fail him. In 1968 he married Marie Andrews and to that union two children were born. He was a faithful member of Flipper Chapel AME Church, where he was a member of the male choir and usher board for several years and for a period of time he served as the president of the usher board. Larry loved his family. He enjoyed family gatherings at the home house where he grew up with his sister and two brothers. He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Juanita Bonner; son, Chadwick (Sheneka) Bonner, Sr.; daughters, Latoyia Bonner (Renaud Pooler) of Milledgeville, GA, Dr. Alisa M. (Lawrence) Wade, DDS of Grayson, GA; step son, Rodney Sanford (Katie) of Milledgeville, GA; four brothers, Robert Bonner, Emmett Bonner (Vivian) of Milledgeville, GA, Samuel (Loria) Brown of Watkinsville, and Larry Brown of New Haven, Connecticut; three sisters, Annie Loise Thomas of Milledgeville, GA, Minnie Brown and Betty Brown of New Haven, Connecticut; four grandsons, Detavious Bonner, Ricky Chamber and Chadwick Bonner, Jr. of Milledgeville, GA and Lawrence Nichilas Chandler Wade of Grayson, GA; two granddaughters, Takeria Poole of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Natalie Alisa Wade of Grayson, GA; one great granddaughter, Kyomi Bonner; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Vicky) Sanford Jr., and Robert (Johngelene) Sanford III; a devoted niece, Pam Bonner; a devoted cousin, Cynthia Walker; a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Genevia Brown and Mary Bonner of Milledgeville , GA; three brothers, William Brown, Eddie Brown and Rosee Brown of New Haven, Connecticut.
