LC Gordon

Mr. Lessie "LC" Gordon, of Milledgeville, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Atrium Health Navicent, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the Baldwin County High School Auditorium, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment will follow in Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mr. Lessie Lee Gordon, Gordon, affectionately known to all who loved him as “LC”, was born August 1, 1942, to the parentage of the late Mr. Sammie Lee Gordon and the late Mrs. Maybell Wilson Gordon of McIntyre, Ga. LC attended the public schools of Wilkinson County.  After working several jobs, he finally landed his dream job working  for the Baldwin County School system. After retiring in 2002, LC realized that he did not want to become stagnant and missed working inside the school system. LC returned to Baldwin County School system as a contractor. LC was married to Mrs. Marilyn Kelsey Gordon for 51 loving years where she was passionately known as “That Gul”. They kept their bond until she was called to her heavenly home. On September 13, 2021, LC entered into rest, joining his wife Marilyn and two sons Fred and Anthony, leaving a legacy behind. His family shall forever cherish his memories. Survivors include his five children: Lisa (Morris) Basley, Chervicia (Elliot) Peters, Greg (Kate) Gordon, Travis (Keisha) Gordon, and Tracey Gordon. LC leaves behind fond memories for his 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also cherishing his memory is his devoted nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
