Kenneth Julius Wright

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mr. Kenneth Wright, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. Wright passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023.

Memorial services were held on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Kenneth J. Wright was born on October 2, 1959 in Baldwin County, Georgia. He was sixty-three years old.

Kenneth realized early that one day this earthly tabernacle would dissolve. There, he made preparation by becoming a member of the family of worshippers at County Line Baptist Church.

He obtained his education from J.F. Boddie High School. He believed in hard work. This was proven by his dedication that was displayed at Dyer & Foreman Plant, from which he retired.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sally Mae Johnson Wright; parents, Deacon Robert Wright, and Deaconess Mattie L. Wright; and a sister, Shirley Fraley.

Kenneth transitioned to be with our Heavenly Father on July 28, 2023.

He leaves to mourn five sisters, Ms. Elizabeth Middlebrooks, Ms. Gloria J. Wright, Ms. Syliva A. Wright, Ms. Jacquelyn Wells, all of Milledgeville, GA, Ms. Clifforine Enyioko of Detroit, MI; three brothers, Mr. Alvin Wright (Geraldine) of Milledgeville, GA, Mr. Robert Wright (Sherry) of Jonesboro, GA, Mr. Ronnie Wright of Milledgeville, GA; devoted aunt, Mrs. Ella M. Glover; a devoted friends, Ms. Ada Foster and Ms. Oneisha Lee; his caregiver, Ms. Joyce Lee Adams; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
