It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mr. Kenneth L. Bishop, Macon, Georgia. Mr. Bishop passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM from the Friendship Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment to follow. 

Mr. Kenneth Leon Bishop born November 27, 1967, to Ms. Betty Renfroe Hall and the late Mr. Johnnie Lee Bishop in Milledgeville, Georgia. 

Kenneth was educated in the public schools of Baldwin County, Georgia. He was a well-rounded individual who enjoyed serving others. Even though he studied to become a welder his passion for serving the elderly was where he found his love. For several years he was employed as a nurse’s aid allowing him to fulfill his passion to serve others.

 He enjoyed many good laughs with family and friends that enjoyed his good cooking. In addition to his family and cooking he loved good music, and football always rooting for home teams The Georgia Bulldogs and The Atlanta Falcons.

He will be cherished in memory by his mother: Mrs. Betty Hall, Sandersville, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Johnnie Bishop, Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters: Ms. Beverly Andrews, Dublin, Georgia; Mrs. Tracey (Juma) Bah, Newnan, Georgia; a special friend: Ms. Shelia Shellman, Macon, Georgia; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
