Mr. Kelvin Sherrod Thomas, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Pine Pointe Hospice, Macon, Georgia.
Graveside services were held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2:00 PM from the New Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery, Gray, Georgia.
Kelvin S. Thomas was born October 8, 1976 to the parentage of the late Lizzie M. Pounds Thomas and Eugene Griswold. Kelvin was a resident of Jones County. He received his education in Jones County school system. He attended different churches in the surrounding area. Kelvin often called “Coolidge” to friends and “Sausage” to family enjoyed telling jokes and cracking on family and friends. He was quite good @ it to. His passion in his spare time was washing and detailing cars. He was loved by many. His children was his world. To know Kelvin,, you really had to know him. What’s understood doesn’t have to be explained. On Saturday evening October 16, 2021, he entered eternal rest at Atrium Health Navicent Hospice Pine Pointe. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lizzie M. Pounds-Thomas; father, Eugene Griswold; daughter, Kavon Thomas; one sister, Angela Middlebrooks; two brothers, Ronald Middlebrooks, Charles Griswold; two nephews, Antonio Middlebrooks, Jacaden Middlebrooks. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and devoted stepmother, Viola Griswold of Haddock, GA; a son, Keldrick Thomas of Eatonton, GA; five sisters, Carla (Kelvin) Farley of Haddock, GA, Beryl (Robert) Hogan of Haddock, GA, Marjorie Haynes of Haddock, GA, Carol Smith of Haddock, GA, Sheena Turner of Gray, GA; two brothers, Adrian Turner of Milledgeville, GA, Mantrail (Cierra) Turner of Macon, GA; two life long friends, Dontrell Norman of Conyers, GA, Courtney Holiday of Haddock, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
