It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Miss. Kailyn Johnson, Milledgeville, Georgia. Miss. Johnson passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 12:00 PM, from the Lakeview Academy Gymnasium, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment was held from the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia. 

It is with great sadness we announce the death of our sweet  princess Miss Kailyn Ka’Leah Johnson. 
Kailyn, affectionately known as “KK” or “Kay-Bear,” age 11, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 14, 2022. She was born July 16, 2011 in Milledgeville, Ga. She was a sixth grader at Oakhill Middle School.
 

Kailyn was loved by so so so many people, she touched your heart from the minute you saw her. She was always happy, smiling, and everyone loved that INFECTIOUS laugh. Kailyn was a Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy WARRIOR, and she always had a smile from ear to ear. Kailyn loved everyone just as much as everyone loved her. From her smile to her clothes down to the many shoes she wore she was perfect. Kailyn will be remembered for being a very beautiful, sweet, smart, lovable, happy and funny little girl. Her life ended way too soon and she will be deeply missed, but NEVER forgotten. The brightest star will ALWAYS shine forever. She was truly our Angel on Earth now in heaven.
 

Kailyn is survived by her parents Tasia Marshall and Dario Johnson, and sister Jamerial Jackson. Grandparents Pamela (Curtis) Morgan, Efrem Zim West, Gail(Alvin) Primas. Aunts and Uncles Erica(Corey) Myrick, Zimesha West, Alexis Hurley, Shandrena Marshall, Tharrius West, JaQuez West, and Milton Marshall Jr. A host of great aunts, uncles, and her many cousins will always love her will miss her tremendously. Her devoted friend Megan Craddock was a blessing to Kailyn and our family will always love her deeply.
