It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater’s Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Joyce Daniel of Milledgeville, Georgia. She passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024. 

Joyce Daniel the daughter of the late Mr. Evans Daniel Sr. and the late Mrs. Pearl Daniel. She was born June 22nd, 1948, in Milledgeville, Georgia.

Joyce was a 1967 graduate of J. F. Boddie High School in Baldwin County. Joyce was a faithful and dedicated employee at the Southern Bell Telephone Company. 

Joyce loved getting on the road and finding new places to go and explore with her riding partner her
nephew Barry. 

Joyce Daniel is survived by her loving nephews Mr. Barry (Monica) F. Daniel of Milledgeville, Ga., Mr. William Dexter Daniel of Florida, and Mr. Willie (Michelle) Devereux Jr., niece Shelia Branch of New Jersey, great niece Mrs. Shanerica Johnson (Jermaine) and Ms. Dominique Devereux of Atlanta, great nephews Mr. Barry Daniel II and Mr. BrShaun Daniel of Milledgeville, GA., Willie Devereux III, of Atlanta, and Wayne Walker of Philadelphia, sister-in-law Ingrid Daniel and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
