Johnny Trawick

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater’s Funeral Home, Inc. announce the death of Johnny Trawick,. Mr. Trawick passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.

Celebration of Life Services were held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. 

Johnny Clyde Trawick was born November 25, 1952 to the parentage of Mr. William Trawick, Sr. and Mrs. Mary Davis.

Johnny obtained his education in the Hancock County School System.  After receiving his education, he obtained the skills to become a brick mason.  Johnny served as a professional brick mason for most of his professional career.

Johnny was a member of Compass Lodge #160, Free & Accepted Masons, Sparta, Georgia. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting, and gathering with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Trawick, Sr. and Mary Davis; brothers, David Trawick and William Trawick, Jr.

Johnny transitioned to eternal rest on July 26, 2023.

He leaves to cherish his memories: son, Mario Trawick; daughter, Beyonka Trawick; brothers, Robert (Justine) Trawick, Milton (Glenda) Trawick; sister, Jacqueline (Samuel) Shinholster; sister-in-law, Bernice Trawick; grandchildren, Kimberly Stephens, Chastin Trawick, Adonis Trawick, Eleni Trawick; a host of other relatives and friends.
