Johnny Choice

It is with sympathy, the management and staff of Slater's Funeral Home, Inc. announce the passing of Mr. Johnny Choice, Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. Choice passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

Graveside services were held Friday, April 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia.

Johnny Choice, Jr., 65, was born on December 19, 1954, in Hancock County to the parentage of the late Mr. Johnny Choice, Sr. and Mrs. Juanita Choice. He was one of eight siblings. On April 25, 2022, he departed this life. Johnny’s family and friends affectionally called him “Mutt”, “Junior”, or “Johnny-with-the-Y”. His infectious smile and humor will be sadly missed as he leaves a large void in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his stories.

Johnny is survived by his sisters: Izora McDowell; Janice (James) Warren; Mary (James) Scott all of Milledgeville, GA and Patricia (Daniel) Walker of Sparta, GA; his brothers: Ocie L. (Gail) Choice, J.C. Choice and Walter Choice all of Milledgeville, GA; his aunts: Catherine Goodman of Milledgeville, GA and Alice (Flemister) Simmons of Sparta, GA; his uncle: Claude (Catherine) Harper of Sparta, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews ,cousins, relatives, and friends.
