Mr. John H. Williams, Jr., of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Navicent Health Baldwin, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Graveside services were held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM from the Fishing Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mr. John Henry Williams, Jr. was born on November 23, 1954 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mrs. Mamie Bell Reeves Williams.

To know John was truly to love him.

"June" as he was affectionately known, was educated in Baldwin County Public Schools. Mr. Williams was no stranger to hard work. He worked several jobs to include: The City of Milledgeville, Sinclair Disposal, Advance Disposal and Attaway Disposal Systems devoting more than forty-two years of dedicated service.

He attended the Fishing Creek Baptist Church in Milledgeville, Georgia. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, raising livestock, and most of all spending time with family and friends.

"June" was outgoing, highly determined and caring to all who knew him. He was willing to work hard for anyone who needed his help. His children adored him and he loved them dearly. His outspoken personality was admired by all that knew him. He was a loving and devoted father who will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jonathan Williams, and one sister, Mamie Evalena Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mrs. Shoniese Williams, of Milledgeville, GA; his children: Ms. Janiese Williams, Mr. Travarius Williams, Mr. Bobby Williams, Mr. John Lee Williams, Ms. Gail Williams, Ms. Jalece Williams, all of Milledgeville, GA; his five grandchildren; his five brothers: Mr. Larry Williams, Mr. David Williams, Mr. Jerry (Yolanda) Williams, Mr. Bobby (Sonya) Williams, all of Milledgeville, GA, Mr. Willie James Williams, of Jones County, GA; his three sisters: Mrs. Betty Primas, Mrs. Shirley (Eulice) Stevenson and Mrs. Beverly Williams (Gus Singleton), all of Milledgeville, GA; his seven aunts: Mrs. Anna Lou Davis, Ms. Christine Ross, Both of Milledgeville, GA, Mrs. Daisy Mae Davis, of Sparta, GA, Mrs. Annie Mae (Willie B.) Simmons, Mrs. Georgia Mae (Joe) Hayes, Mrs. Sarah Daniels, Mrs. Naomi Morris, all of Albany, GA, a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
